Owing to its high level of quality and industrialization, Technologia Deportiva, S.A. was designated as a member of the Working Group CEN/TC53/WG7 of the European Committee for Standardization (CEN), which was responsible for the development of this regulation. The European UNE-EN 1283-1 Standard was approved by the said committee in 1997. This standard cancels and substitutes UNE 81-650 of 1980 and establishes the minimum requisites with which all Safety Netting according to the use.
